WORKING EXPERIENCE

    Schlumberger Fellow and Research Director of the Mathematics and Modeling Department. Fields of research include: forward and inverse scattering problems both in the frequency and time domain, mixed boundary value problems in complex media, development of theoretical models for well logging tools and data interpretation algorithms. While at SDR, worked on and contributed to the development of dielectric and resistivity logging tools, borehole radar, cross-well EM, corrosion evaluation tools, fluid flow metering for surface testing applications, and electromagnetic wireless telemetry for drill-stem testing applications.

    Conducted an analysis on detection of buried objects in lossy media. Developed propagation models in the ionosphere.

    Conducted a research study on the effects of the earth magnetic field and the synchrotron radiation from relativistic particles and their relation to the effects of the geomagnetic anomaly on TDRS/Shuttle transmissions.
