THE ELECTROMAGNETICS ACADEMY founded by Professor JIN AU KONG

Conference Committee

The Conference Committee oversees the organization and execution of all conferences related to The Electromagnetics Academy (TEMA), including the annual PIERS (PhotonIcs and Electromagnetics Research Symposium, also known as Progress In Electromagnetics Research Symposium) and topical conferences focused on emerging and specialized areas within photonics and electromagnetics. Upholding the TEMA’s mission to advance global research, the Committee ensures these events foster cutting-edge discussions, from fundamental theory to applied innovations. It evaluates potential host locations, manages logistical partnerships, and upholds the highest standards of academic rigor and inclusivity. The Committee also works closely with the TEMA Board of Directors and other TEMA committees, including the Publication Committee to identify high-impact research and improve the quality of the PIER journals published by the TEMA. By curating cutting-edge content, facilitating knowledge exchange, and strengthening ties between conferences and publications, the Committee reinforces PIERS as a premier international forum for innovation in electromagnetics and photonics.
